Historically metal lunch boxes where the only and obvious choice. Robust, easy-to-clean and perfect for kids and adults. Many were made from repurposed cookie tins and even tobacco tins (perpetually smoked sandwiches?).  Sadly, the wave of molded plastics hit us with cheap lunchboxes in numerous colors and styles. The metal lunchbox did hold on until the 1980s, but with super cheap plastic it was hard to compete.  Now, however we are aware of the consequences of all that plastic and are happy to support products that are fully recyclable and easy to recycle too like stainless steel.  So, let's get...
